Welcome to your Congress

The People’s Congress was created as a means by which all Americans can establish a national general assembly representing all citizens. Its purpose is to alter our national government through deliberation; proposing amendments to the American people to vote on in a national referendum; and overseeing such a referendum to make sure it is fair; and working with and representing the American people until they alter our government to secure our happiness as one people. Because the current congress has been co-opted by private interests, and because it is highly unlikely that those private interests will ever truly represent the majority will of the people, it is time to both alter and restore our government.

There have been several remarkable examples of this process throughout the world.  The time has come for Americans to address our grievances.  Let us learn from others as best we can, and act expediently to modernize our constitution and government.
