I don’t believe the S.Court decided corps. are people, merely that speech is protected, all speech. What was not examined, and not allowed under the constitution is corp. or org. representation. People as defined by enumeration establishes congressional offices. Is it not unconstitutional for any rep. to favor or even associate with any org.? How can one rep. the people when he supports any party other than people? He can not.

I am good with that suggestion. I think it’s hard to imagine anyone can consider the current congress representational, unless you are a corporation, but I hear what you are saying. It’s already changed, and as we all know, the final draft has yet to be written. It would be great to see some people take that task on.

I would prefer that the term representational democracy not be used in the invocation, or elsewhere in the preliminary materials. Suggest just use the word democracy as the point of departure, and let the Congress formulate what it is it thinks that should come to mean in principle and practice.
The term representational democracy has too much baggage. For many among our citizenry the term does not distinguish any difference from our current system of government — which, of course, is anything but representative.

This Ballot is a blueprint for Democracy. Since TV is the major source of news and entertainment for the masses, I would like to see a restructuring of the content being shown today relating to violence, the abuse of women (relating to dress codes) and more diversity in gender and race. If, the media uses the people’s airways, all candidates for legislative offices should be given equal and free time to put out their message. Third Party candidates are desperately needed and if we go back to ballot counting, people like Ralph Nader, Rocky Anderson would have a chance. We need to stop the media from controlling our lives with trash, violence and the spread of hatred.
