Day 3 Day 5

  • Pas Argenio

My thoughts are to start with the Media, Day 1.5 or so. Media is where hearts and minds are being distorted now.
Also should there be a plank for re-funding public media?

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/John-Mulkins/654951540 John Mulkins

The Agenda begins with Corporate Governance because it is essentially the umbrella issue which effects everything else. We will leave it up to the Steering Committee to make that decision however, so if you really think this is important, please continue to advocate for what you believe. There COULD be a plank for publicly funded media…again, this kind of decision needs to happen in the forum, so please post that suggestion there and see if you can build some support for the idea. I personally favor the idea.

Tavis Smiley

An outspoken Television personality Author and voice for change. Tavis Smiley and Dr. Cornel West conducted a nine-state, 18-city tour to highlight the plight of poor people of all races, colors, and creeds so they will not be forgotten, ignored, or rendered invisible during this difficult and dangerous time of economic deprivation and political cowardice.

Alan Grayson

One of the most qualified people in the U.S. is running for office and he needs your support. Grayson is a hard hitting Harvard graduate who worked his way through school. In addition to credentials in law, Grayson has an advanced degree in gerontology, a resource that would bring insight on the feasibility and sustainability of all issues surrounding retirement and health care for senior citizens.

Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Warren’s dedication and impeccable methods in research were used extensively to create the (CFPB) Consumer Financial Protections Bureau. In fact, Ms. Warren’s work is so discouraging to corporate interests that she moved aside so that Richard Cordray could head the agency. The end result is that now Ms. Warren is running to become part of congress. The people could not ask for a better leader for liberty.
